Last November Alfred and the band had the great honor of performing with piano great, Richard Cherubini at Cherubini Yacht's though Circle of Friends concerts. It's with sadness we share that Richard Cherubini, age 86 died yesterday. He became a professional musician at 17 when he played with Cole Porter and in his venerable career he has played with the Duke Ellington Band, Rosemary Clooney and many many others. The music world has truly lost a legend. In November, Alfred James coaxed Rich out of the audience to jam with him on stage.
